The International Seabed Authority, which is responsible for overseeing the development of deep-sea mining in international waters AND protecting the ocean met to negotiate a set of regulations to determine if deep-sea mining can proceed. But scientists and environmentalists involved in the process are worried about transparency and revealing that the process is not transparent at all.
