It’s Friday afternoon and that can only mean that we’ve got a fresh episode of Oilersnation Radio to help you finish off your week and make sense of all things Edmonton Oilers. On this week’s show, we talked about the latest news from training camp, the Josh Archibald conundrum, Ask the Idiots, and a whole lot more.

Kicking off this week's podcast, we jumped in with a look at the Oilers roster and specifically who will be feeling the most pressure as we head into the 2021-22 season. Whether it's the goaltending or the defence or the forwards, there is a handful of guys that are likely feeling the heat to perform as we head into a new season, and it was interesting to hear everyone's takes on who has the most on their shoulders. From there, we looked at what's going on at training camp, including the absence of a few players for varying reasons from quarantines to lack of vaccination. Since we were talking about missing time, I asked the boys how big of a deal it is for a player like Duncan Keith to miss the first week of camp as he is still in quarantine after returning home from the States where he got the one-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine. Changing gears, how could I not spend a few minutes talking about Peter Chiarelli landing a new gig with the St. Louis Blues despite a horrific track record with the Edmonton Oilers when he was last employed. Does the NHL need a little more depth in their talent pool when it comes to management? Lastly, we wrapped up this week's podcast with another round of Ask the Idiots and a look back on the ups and downs from the last seven days.
