Cousin Sal and the Degenerate Trifecta are back to recap week 3 as Sal proved that you actually can bet against Tom Brady and win. The Rams look like the best team in the NFC and Sal’s Bills/Rams Super Bowl prediction looks good. The guys discuss the end of the Ravens/Lions game and how long they think Justin Tucker’s record-breaking field goal will stand. The Parlay Kid argues it should have never counted and Tucker saved thousands of people’s survivor league entries.
The guys then discuss their Betaches as once again Harry has a confusing one about the WNBA. Sal challenges Harry to put money on Kirk Cousins (80-1) to win MVP.
Next up, the guys preview the Monday night matchup Cowboys (-3) against the Eagles as nearly everyone is loading up on the Cowboys except for Brother Bri. They also discuss prop bets and who they think will score the first touchdown.
Then former NFL head coach and offensive coordinator Todd Haley joins the show to discuss Ben Roethlisberger’s early struggles and why he thought Ben would have retired this off-season. Todd explains why rookie quarterbacks have struggled early this season and why it’s even more impressive that Justin Herbert has been able to do what he’s done. Todd talks about coaching Tony Romo early in his career, coaching high school football, and being pranked by Terrell Owens after a McDonald’s mishap.
The guys close the show with their Sharp Tank picks as the Parlay Kid and Brother Bri have been riding hot streaks – who will Sal choose to go with?
