Timo Meier made his New Jersey Devils debut against the Arizona Coyotes at Mullett Arena and didn't disappoint. He was able to score the first goal of the game and made sure to assert himself throughout the night. In addition to Meier's big night, Jesper Boqvist was able to score twice and Nico Hischier delivered in the clutch once again. However, it wasn't the best showing against one of the worst teams in the NHL. Vitek Vanecek and the defense didn't look sharp at all. Nonetheless, it was still an eventful night. I got to cover the game as a credentialed media member and went behind the scenes once again.
