Former Manchester United goalkeeper Tim Howard joined the UTD Podcast this week, from his home in Memphis, Tennessee.

Tim opened up about his challenges growing up with a Tourette’s Syndrome diagnosis, and how playing soccer was a way for him to free himself from the hurdles it put in his way.

He also talked us through his time at Old Trafford - adjusting to the pace of training, picking up his first silverware, and vying for position with Roy Carroll.

Sam, Helen and Maysie also read out your emails at the end of the episode. If you'd like to write to the only official Manchester United Podcast then e-mail utdpodcast@manutd.co.uk

If you'd like to listen through our back-catalogue, the best place to do that is over on the Manchester United App, where you can listen to and watch all of our episodes in full for free!

We'd also love it if you could leave us a rating and review wherever you listen to your podcasts.
