The Detroit Tigers went on an incredible run in the middle of August and now they are a step closer to the ALCS. Boomer went over the Mets pitching staff for the playoffs. They are the best in baseball right now. The Mets also have a handful of players that came out of nowhere to be huge for the team like Mark Vientos and Jose Iglesias. A caller said this Mets magic wouldn’t have happened if Jeff McNeil didn’t get hurt. Jerry returns for an update and starts with the sounds of John Sterling as the Yankees beat the Royals. Todd Downing will call the plays for the Jets after Jeff Ulbrich took that away from Nathaniel Hackett. Haason Reddick was dropped by his agents. The Niners beat the Seahawks on TNF. In the final segment of the hour, ‘Lieutenant Dan’, of Hurricane Milton fame, actually has a long rap sheep. He was like a folk hero for not wanting to leave during the hurricane, but now, after finding out he has a history of violent crimes, people don’t like him.
