The penultimate episode of our top 20 games of the year countdown features two very different games: an all-out offensive explosion, and a dragged out pitchers' duel with high stakes. We're talking about 15 unanswered runs, broken bats that turn into homers, and who on the current Brewers is the new Cub-killer (AKA Ryan Braun).
At the top of the episode, we send our condolences to the families of Gerald Williams and Jeremy Giambi who both passed away this week. Vinny shares a light-hearted story about watching Williams play as a Brewer back in the 90s.
Also, MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred is scheduled to meet with the media today at the Owners' Meetings in Orlando, his first public availability since the beginning of the lockout. Furthermore, Evan Drellich reports that the Players Association and the owners will meet to negotiate core economics on Saturday.
