Rookie Ryan Pepiot won the fifth starter spot, taking over for Tony Gonsolin, who is out with a sprained ankle. Rookie Andre Jackson won the final bullpen spot. Julio Urías gets the first opening day start of his career, on the mound for the Dodgers on March 30 against the D-backs. Urías will be followed in the rotation by Dustin May, Clayton Kershaw, Noah Syndergaard, and Pepiot to begin the season.
