Three and a half years ago the UK voted in a referendum on our future in the European Union. At 11 pm tonight, we're out. So what does the outworking of that monumental democratic decision mean for democracy in Northern Ireland? But what changes today? We no longer have MEPs representing us in Europe. There is uncertainly over trade borders and citizens rights. We no longer have a place at the decision making table, but here in Northern Ireland we will still be directly affected by decisions made in Brussels. Is this the beginning of a bright, prosperous future for the whole of the United Kingdom, or a step backwards? And is Northern Ireland going to be able to really benefit from the changes brought by Brexit?
