About the guestThomasine Dolan Dow was born/raised in Baltimore (Parkville for those who know Baltimore). Moved to LA in the 80s with 2 friends. Pursued advertising career. Moved to NYC with same 2 friends and in '86 met a fashion designer at a party and that changed everything. My career in fashion started at Ralph Lauren, then Armani Exchange, Banana Republic, launched my own line, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Lemlem, Sperry. During that time Dolan Dow also worked in costuming on a Meryl Streep movie and deep dived into educating myself on Sustainability in fashion. Dolan Dow currently works for MII (Material Innovation Initiative) as a Fashion Design Specialist. MII's objective is to accelerate the development of sustainable materials used in fashion, auto and home industries.
