Submit ReviewGerman musician Thomas Blug follows in the traditions of Les Paul and Tom Scholtz. He is an astounding guitarist with a passion - and career - in cutting edge guitar gear, having spent years designing for Hughes and Kettner and now seeing his own Blu Guitar innovations take hold around the world. His Amp 1 is played by Jennifer Batten, Jude Gold and Kat Dyson, to name a few pros.
Thomas joins us the morning after a gig to tell the story of his own playing career, the products he designed for H & K and of course his own Blu Guitar range including the Amp 1, the custom shop '61 guitar - based on Thomas' own vintage Fender, with a few tweaks - and get a pre-release preview of the Amp X, a comprehensive amp and effects system to be released at NAMM 2022.
