Amy and her cousin, Amanda Rieger Green, just got back from a restorative getaway trip! It was good for the soul in so many ways: laughter, meaningful conversation, time in nature, Lifetime movies, good food, time to EXHALE & more...

A quote from Rumi that came up on their trip that will change the way you think:

“It's your road, and yours alone, others may walk it with you, but no one can walk it for you.”

In other words, if you don't find the courage to go after what you want in life, you'll never get it. Amanda is personally working through this as we speak!

OTHER THINGS DISCUSSED WITH AMANDA:

- Taking 5 minutes per day to meditate (also loaded on your 4 Things feed today is a free 5-min meditation led by Amanda. Try to do it every day this week because it will be a game-changer!)

- Challenging yourself to feel better & create balance

- Recognizing the call to action and TAKING THE ACTION

- Knowing that everyone is going through something even when from the outside they seem to have it all together

- Taking the word “bad” out of your vocabulary

- The data is in the doing (and you only get data by TRYING/DOING)

- Having courage to look back at your past to move forward

- Forest bathing, grounding, negative ions

- Paying attention to who you can be your best, silliest, light-hearted self around (shout out Danae Hays & Lispy Linda!)

- Therapy & knowing your worth

- Acting As If (special 4-part mini-series that will drop on the 4 Things podcast feed on Labor Day - this coming Monday!)

Listen. Enjoy. Like. Subscribe. All the things. And most importantly, have the day you need to have!
