The Yankees went to Baltimore and lost two out of three games because their offense is stuck in 2021. The pitching was excellent most of the weekend, and Nestor Cortes, Jr. pitched the game of his life, but his offense and bullpen betrayed him. He even threw an immaculate inning! Saturday's game was the only win for the Yankees and the offense did their usual 'score in bunches but do nothing else' thing and Friday was another extra-inning loss because the Yankees couldn't do anything with the runner on second and the Orioles could.
