Today on the show, Giles Alderson welcomes director & producer Tracy Wren and screenwriter & producer Jennifer Cooney. Together they made the indie feature film Rain Beau’s End (2020), which is out now on VOD on lesflicks.com.

They dive deep into their collaboration on the film, how they made it, and how they found distribution. Tracy talks about what she learned from editors, how she creates storyboards, how she works with actors, and what directing is really about. Jennifer discusses how she came on board as a first-time writer and how she became a better screenwriter by being on set.

Sit back, relax and enjoy this week’s episode on the writer-director-collaboration with Tracy Wren & Jennifer Cooney.

Rain Beau’s End is out NOW!

When a prominent, progressive lesbian couple adopts a child mislabelled with a genetic predisposition for violence, they must face the ghosts of their past and contend with their hard-lined stance on acceptance. Will they stand for their values while trying to raise a loving family in the spotlight?
