The original statement by the whistle-blower who first raised concerns about President Trump’s phone call with the President of Ukraine was made public on Thursday. The acting director of national intelligence, Joseph Maguire, then spoke at a public hearing before the House Intelligence Committee to discuss how the complaint was handled and to answer questions about the whistle-blower’s credibility. Today, we’ll hear from a former FBI special agent, CLINT WATTS, Washington Post national security reporter DEVLIN BARRETT to get their thoughts on what we have learned this week. Then, we take a closer look at Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky, corruption in the Ukraine and the country’s relationship with the U.S. Our guest is MITCHELL ORENSTEIN, professor of Russian and East European studies at University of Pennsylvania.
