The original statement by the whistle-blower who first raised concerns about President Trump’s phone call with the President of Ukraine was made public on Thursday. The acting director of national intelligence, Joseph Maguire, then spoke at a public hearing before the House Intelligence Committee to discuss how the complaint was handled and to answer questions about the whistle-blower’s credibility.
