Raasin McIntosh is the director of Parks & Placemaking for Downtown Austin Alliance, Olympic hurdler and Founder/CEO of Raasin in the Sun. University of Texas Track Star and Olympian Raasin McIntosh, traveled to West Africa before the 2012 London Olympic Games. There she discovered her true passion competing in front of thousands of fans.

As Director of Parks and Placemaking, Raasin will lead the management team for Republic Square park and manage productions, partnerships and ideation for cultural-based placemaking and activations that welcome everyone to downtown Austin. Raasin is the Founder and CEO of Raasin in the Sun.
