The Truman Show is depressing.

Thank the maker for Jim Carrey though! As we discuss on this episode it takes a light touch to navigate the murky ethical waters of THE TRUMAN SHOW. Thankfully Peter Weir cast a comedian for this part written by Andrew Niccol and what results is a very entertaining film that the Academy could safely ignore. Because it was entertaining!
