Some companies in the UK are currently trialing a four-day working week. Belgium has this month given its workers the right to request one, and these measures follow similar experiments in New Zealand and Iceland, the latter of which was purported to be an overwhelming success. But is productivity, profitability, health and wellbeing really as simple as chopping one day off the week? This week's Sunday Debate motion is: Four Days Won't Fix the Working Week. With us to discuss it are Julia Hobsbawm, leading thinker, speaker and author, whose new book is The Nowhere Office: Reinventing Work and the Workplace of the Future. Joining Julia is Alex Soojung-Kim Pang, founder of Strategy and Rest, and author of Shorter: Work Better, Smarter, and Less – Here's How. Our chair for the discussion is journalist and broadcaster Paul Osbourne.  Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
