Another week is set to wrap and that means another fresh episode of Oilersnation Radio is here to get you set for the weekend. This week, we look at the Edmonton being named as a hub city, a tribute to Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, NHL free agency, and a whole lot more.   To kick off this week's podcast, we got started with the Sherwood Ford Giant Question of the Week which revolved around whether or not Matt Benning will be on the Oilers' roster next season. Seeing as the Oilers are going to have some cap issues in the near future, Ken Holland is going to have some very difficult decisions to make as the team moves forward. From there, we used episode 93 to spend a few minutes honouring Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and all of the good things he does for this franchise. Next up, we looked at last week's NHL Draft Lottery and how it was incredible to see that the result the league did not want to happen actually happened. We also decided which play-in team we would most want to lose the lottery when they get kicked out of the playoffs? Sticking with the playoffs, Edmonton is expected to be named a hub city for the 24-team playoffs so we spoke a little bit about what it means for the game as well as the hockey world's perception of the city. Will it affect free agency? Will the city go over and above to make sure everything runs smoothly? Finally, to wrap up this week's podcast we took a few swings on what to expect with free agency, which is slated to happen on November 1st rather than in July as normal.
