Guest: Mark Steinberg is a professor of Russian History at the University of Illinois. He’s the author of many wonderful books including, Proletarian Imagination: Self, Modernity, and the Sacred in Russia, 1910-1925Voices of Revolution, 1917Petersburg Fin de Siecle; and with Nicholas Riasanovsky, A History of Russia, now in its 8th edition.
