Aaron highlights an Oakland-based band with music that has been featured in TV shows like "Weeds", "One Tree Hill", and "The Vampire Diaries" and Brent spotlights a trio, formed in London, that came to prominence in the wake of the punk rock movement of the late 70s. Originally formed by vocalist Zach Schwartz in 2002 before partnering with long-time collaborator and drummer Pat Spurgeon, Aaron looks at three songs from Rogue Wave. Opting to go their separate ways after releasing their most successful album, Synchronicity, in 1983, Brent spotlights three songs from Sting and The Police.
