Episode 42 The Pelley Family MurdersIn April, 1989, the shocking murders of Bob, Dawn, Janel, and Jolene Pelley shocked their small Indiana town. Left alone to deal with the aftermath, was 9 year-old Jessi Pelley. The pain and trauma from the loss of her family devastated Jessi and affected her in ways that have taken 3 decades to try and recover from. An arrest finally came 13 years after the murders, but despite the killer being imprisoned, Jessi still faced the fallout from that day 30 years ago when her family was taken from her. Jessi, along with help from her cousin Jamie,  told her story in a book that was released in April, 2019- 30 years to the day after her family was murdered. In this episode, Jessi and Jamie discuss the 30 year journey following the murders, and the new book. Check out the book about this case- I am Jessica: A survivor's powerful story of healing and hope.
