Submit ReviewAnother Friday in self-isolation is upon us and that means a fresh episode of Oilersnation Radio is here to get you set for the weekend or whatever that means to you at this point. This week, we look at Edmonton being considered as a host city for the Pacific Division, Philip Berglund signing his ELC, Gretzky vs Ovechkin, and a lot more.
To start this week's podcast, we jumped in with a look at Edmonton being looked at as a host city for the Pacific Division provided that the NHL is safely able to get back on the ice at some point this summer. Seeing as there are two NHL-sized rinks attached to a hotel, it seems pretty obvious why the league would have their eyes on the City of Champions. From there, we moved onto Philip Berglund signing his ELC this past week and what that means for the Oilers' defensive depth chart moving forward. Next up, I threw a hypothetical scenario at the boys where they were able to undo one Oilers draft pick from history without having a butterfly effect ruin everything that happened after, and the answers were all over the map. Needless to say, the Oilers have had some interesting draft choices over the years and plenty of them should have probably been avoided. Lastly, we finished up this week's podcast with our Hot and Cold performers of the week, which included some shots at daytime TV, car problems, dog training, and my horrific parallel parking skills.
