It’s Friday the 13th, people!! And that could only mean one thing: an under-seen teen bully flick from Sean S. Cunningham? That’s right, we’ve hit the bottom of the barrel for Jason-related content and have now slid into Mr. Cunningham’s lesser efforts, 1985’s Army brats vs. bully flick, THE NEW KIDS! Along the way, we talk about parentless towns, multiple sleepwalking performances, a surprisingly wet microfiche scene, and one of the cinema’s least memorable “Grand Opening/Grand Closing” performances!! All this, plus a gold star teen bedroom set decoration, witness someone sexually harassing their child, consider the titular fanatic, shake with fear at a goose scare, and end with a jolting edition of Choose Your Own Deathventure! If you don’t listen to this episode, you’ll be sorry. Actually, you’ll be fine, but we’d love for you to listen anyway.
