Vegas doesn't know everything, but they're a pretty good barometer of the landscape at any given time, and the folks at Betonline have numbers out on the 2021-22 season. Not surprisingly, the Lakers and Brooklyn Nets are prohibitive favorites to win the title. Like, way out ahead of the rest of the pack. Maybe the over/under on wins might feel a little low (52.5), but when you consider the potential for injury, the premium on rest, the idea the Lakers may not go full throttle for seeding, and some early growing pains given the total roster overhaul... maybe not?

But the most interesting stuff is in the futures bets. What are the early odds on Frank Vogel's Coach of the Year candidacy? Did they get stronger or weaker following the Westbrook deal? What about LeBron for MVP? Might it be wise to lay down a couple bucks on James, given where he stands on the list? (Spoiler alert: Yes.) What about Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook? Who is seen as having a better chance of snagging this year's MVP, and what does it say about the award and how the Lakers could play this year?

Finally, Knicks center Nerlens Noel is suing Klutch Sports, essentially for being really, really bad agents who cost him tens of millions of dollars, mostly because they only care about big ticket guys (like LeBron and Davis). Is he right? Wrong? More news will likely spill out from this development, but one thing's for sure: It'll start a debate about the role of agencies like Klutch in the NBA ecosystem, Is it a good thing it has a big presence in the Lakers organization?

HOSTS: Andy and Brian Kamenetzky

SEGMENT 1: Looking at early odds for MVP. Looks like LeBron has a little more motivation, assuming the whole 2K score thing wasn't enough.

SEGMENT 2: More odds. What about Frank Vogel's COY candidacy? Plus, why the Noel suit against Klutch will reinforce perceptions about the league, at least in some circles.

SEGMENT 3: Is it a good thing that Klutch has a big role to play with the Lakers?
