After becoming the first female Prime Minister, she became the first post war PM to win three consecutive general elections. He was given unfettered access to her records, and conducted interviews with civil servants who were given permission to speak to him. Dan and Charles have a frank discussion about Thatcher, trying to make sense of the varying narratives told about her life.
