Submit ReviewStamford Chidge is joined by Jonathan Kydd and Tony Glover to look back at Captain America aka Christian Pulisic's marvel-ous hat trick against Burnley on Saturday.
On the show tonight we get a warm fuzzy glow discussing Pulisic’s perfect hat-trick and ask in the cold light of day has Frank Lampard handled his introduction to the team well? Is he Hazard-esque or is the fact that goal scoring seems to be a team effort this season more important?
In part two, we discuss Jorginho and Kovacic, liberated by Frank Lampard and dominating midfield and Zouma and Tomori become rock like in defence, before the team collectively switched off to allow Burnley two needless consolation goals. But sloppiness aside Frank Lampard’s Chelsea are most definitely exceeding expectations. We also have the usual Parish notices and a teaser for the next Chelsea Special podcast – an interview with Ron ‘Chopper’ Harris.
In part three, we read out this week’s emails and in part four we doff our hat to this week’s winners in our Who Knows Wins Chelsea FanCast match predictions league and then look back to the brilliant victory over Ajax in last Wednesday’s Champions’ League match and a quick look ahead to this Wednesday’s Carabao Cup tie against Man Utd.
