Submit ReviewIn 1999 the Post Office in the UK introduced an accounting system called Horizon, developed by the IT firm Fujitsu, but postmasters started to complain about errors.
Over 16 years, more than 900 sub-postmasters were prosecuted for stealing. It's now accepted that the system was faulty and the UK government has promised to overturn hundreds of convictions and compensate victims.
