Opening Day is this week and Baggs & Brisbee are ready to break down the Giants opening day roster. Quantity of Quality is a big theme of the Giants roster going into the season. The starting rotation is an interesting mix. Logan Webb is slotted as the #3 starter and looks to continue his hot spring. The starting pitching depth is very impressive and the Giants are ready if anyone goes down in the rotation. The Giants roster from the hitting side is very interesting as well. Lots of options for Gabe Kapler to use all over the infield and outfield. Austin Slater is a guy to keep an eye on after a really nice Spring Training. He hopes to keep his hat hot and earn more playing time. And they break down the 2b platoon and how anybody could start there this season until someone hopefully takes the job.
