The Cleveland Browns has a promising start in '21 fade into the abyss after the Mayfield injury and overall disarray, the '22 season started with issues like playing the second string quarterback for eleven games. Also a defense that was thought highly of turn into a unit that could not get out of it's own way. Andrew Berry provided coaching and roster upgrades everywhere so it's not time for the Browns to show they can be a consistent winner.

Deshaun Watson has had playmakers added as the offense will shift to a style where most feel we will see the return to stardom for Watson. Jerome Ford is the wild card on offense as we just haven't seen enough to know whether he can step into a 150 touch role in year two.

The defensive overhaul looks great on paper but the unit can not be one that starts slow with a slew on difficult teams on the opening of the schedule. Jim Schwartz looking to keep things simple and letting his stars just go out and play has already won over the secondary.

This team with a strong start should contend for the AFC North title and a playoff trip in 2023 and if they don't the future of the head coach will rightfully be questioned as NFL teams don't usually keep a head man who's missed the playoffs for three straight years.
