In this episode, we are drinking in the effervescent world of Midwestern craft soda. We meet makers and purveyors of unique pop products.  Mark Lazarchic, better known as Soda Pop Mark, brings us to Blue Sun Soda in Minnesota where he claims they have the largest collection of sodas in the world.  Bob Hansen, owner of Spring Grove Soda, gives us a history lesson on his brand that has been around for over a century.  And, Lesley Kline, founder of Kast Iron Soda,  tells us how her soda fountain is helping to reinvigorate the main street of small town Ohio.

I will be moderating a livestream on Kittch, a new social live-streaming community for food lovers.  On April 9th at 3pm ET join me and Jeremy Fox for a recipe demo of his Rice Flour-Battered King Trumpet Mushrooms  and conversation about mushrooms in celebration of Earth Month.  You can find this event, HRN’s creator channel, and other upcoming streams at kittch.com
