Today I want to tell you about a brand new episode of Eric Krasno Plus One, featuring Derek Trucks. Kraz talks to his bandmate and friend, who he describes as the ‘greatest slide guitar player that’s ever lived’ about the early days of their friendship and the incredible musicians they’ve played with over the years.

They talk about how they’re managing through the pandemic, the time that Derek immersed himself in Indian music and how it influenced his playing, and what he took away from working with Eric Clapton.

As you may know, Eric Krasno has 2 Grammy Awards, both from work he’s done with Derek Trucks (one with Derek Trucks Band and one with Tedeschi Trucks Band).

Upcoming Episodes of Plus One include conversations with Questlove, Phil Lesh, Ivan Neville and more. If you’re enjoying Eric Krasno Plus One, please give it a review on Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts.
