Thanks for tuning in, hope you enjoy!

  1. Phemale-Centrics—Summer ’97. Following up on the Dinner & A Movie from last week, Dawn and Merry reminisce with Phish fans about this summer Of 97 tour. They asked for memories, which is a really cool approach. Brando Rich from CashorTrade called in to share his tour story and update them on what’s going on with CashorTrade during the pandemic.
  2. HF Pod—New Phish Archival Release. This week, Matt and I discuss the latest archival release from LivePhish—3/8/93 from Santa Fe, NM. We had fun with this one, and spent some time talking about why and how these releases get put together, and about the state of Phish in 1993.
  3. Beyond the Pond—Radio City Ghost. Brian and Dave go back to 5/22/00 to the Ghost from Radio City Music Hall. They’re joined by a guest, and as always, they talk about other music, including a deep dive into the worlds of krautrock and early-2000s NYC music.
  4. Brokedown Podcast—Chris Funk of The Decemberists. This new episode features Jonathan chatting with Chris Funk, guitarist of The Decemberists, who has a new solo album out. They talk about the album and Chris’s history as a Deadhead, listening to some of his music along the way, before diving into a heavy slice of Grateful Dead music.
  5. Mockingbird Foundation Protecting Music Education During COVID-19. We were really pleased to be able to talk to Stephanie Jenkins and Bill Ryan, board members of the Mockingbird Foundation. They announced this week that the foundation will be using emergency grant funds to rapidly help protect music education in these unprecedented times. Between now and July 31st, the Foundation will match the first $25,000 in donations made by our community to give at least $75,000 total to #ProtectMusicEd
