The Cincinnati Reds fell to the San Diego Padres in the series finale on Wednesday and it shows many things we know to be true about the Reds. Many of the things, like the back end of the Reds rotation being a mess and the Reds lineup having little power, are why ESPN graded the Reds April poorly. While that grade has some details that are correct, it is wrong. The bullpen, led by Alexis Díaz and Lucas Sims, is better than people think and the Reds have been a much better base running team, thanks to Jonathan India and TJ Friedl, which is why they've been winning more games than last year. The one worry though is Tyler Stephenson. Jeff and Steve discuss a key strategy the Reds employed with him this year that may need to be revisited, to close out today's show.
