Submit ReviewThe Cincinnati Reds punted fielding last year and traded away their best fielder, before the lockout, in Tucker Barnhart this year. Jeff believes that makes them the worst fielding team in the NL Central while Steve believes the Reds to be in the middle of the pack. They both make their case on today's show. With the question marks surrounding multiple positions, it's hard to see the Cincinnati Reds getting worse with new shift rules, but will they be better? One thing is for sure, Jose Barrero will have to be the everyday shortstop if the shift is banned. The outfield is also a huge question mark as two of the three spots remain fluid. The podcast finishes up with a bit of talk about expanded bases and what that might do for the stolen base, as well as the pitch clock and why it doesn't fix anything.
