The Chicago White Sox decided to put together a lineup that featured several left handed hitters to go against Toronto Blue Jays pitcher, Alex Manoah. Despite the fact that White Sox lefties have some of the worst offensive numbers in the league, the Sox still tried the strategy since Manoah was allowing lefties to hit over .300 off of him. The strategy did not work. The White Sox only had one extra base hit and it came off the bat of right-handed hitter, Luis Robert. The White Sox got within one run but the Blue Jays broke it open in the 8th. The Sox lost the series finale, 8-3, and were swept in Toronto. The Sox have lost 6 of their last 8 games and are now in 3rd place in the AL Central. The White Sox head to Tampa for a three game series against the Tampa Bay Rays.
