The Bucks squander their opportunities and lose a painful Game 1 in Brooklyn - Publication Date |

The Milwaukee Bucks had a window of opportunity to steal their first playoff game against the Brooklyn Nets but failed spectacularly to do so, despite James Harden leaving less than a minute in the game with a hamstring injury. Giannis Antetokounmpo and Brook Lopez played well but nobody else did, and coach Mike Budenholzer did not carry the momentum of choreographing a brilliant series against the Miami Heat into a similar performance against Brooklyn, as rotations and gameplans were lacking. Rohan Katti and Ti Windisch ranted for a while about the loss before tackling some changes the Bucks can make to still win the series. Players such as Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday simply need to be better, but some tweaks on both ends and in the rotation could still make this a Bucks series win in the end -- although the margins are tighter down 0-1.
