Its a Hall of Fame-worthy edition of the podcast! ...OK, at least as worthy Harold Baines! Host Ryan Andrews discusses the results of the 2019 Hall of Fame vote, and in particular, what it means that Roy Halladay was elected in his first year on the ballot. Andrews touches on what the late great Blue Jays pitcher meant to the organization and to baseball, and what his inclusion means for other players. Mariano Rivera, Edgar Martinez and Mike Mussina also were voted in, and get some time as well. The second segment sees Andrews touch on players with Blue Jays links or Canadian content. The cases for Barry Bonds, Roger Clemens, Larry Walker, Omar Vizquel, Scott Rolen, Jeff Kent, and Todd Helton are mentioned, while Michael Young bids farewell to the ballot. The final segment features interviews from Blue Jays Winter Fest in Halifax as Ryan Borucki and Danny Jansen give a few minutes of their time to the East Coast.
