It was a tough game to watch in parts but this podcast always tries to find the silver lining! Well, almost always. Ryan Andrews picks apart the Blue Jays' fourth-straight win, starting with a disappointing outing for Aaron Sanchez. Andrews laments Sanchez's inability to control his strike zone, but offers a hearty cheer for the work of the bullpen. Praise comes for Jake Petricka, who had his fastball bending like Beckham, Jose Fernandez, who is cementing a 2019 Opening Day roster spot, Tyler Clippard and Blue Jays folk hero Ken Giles. The second segment is dedicated to the disastrous defense that both teams played during the game. Billy McKinney gets some tough love for his efforts, but Andrews tempers it with praise for Lourdes Gurriel Jr. However, Jonathan Davis earns the host's ire for getting picked off of second base, and Andrews demands heads-up baserunning at all times. Finally, Andrews looks ahead to tonight's start in what could be the last hurrah for Marco Estrada. Given his likely final turn against the Astros, Estrada needs to make tonight count according to the Nova Scotian, who also offers up a partial tribute to the Magician and his legacy as a Blue Jays hero.
