We were delighted to welcome back to the pod former Albion player Gordon Smith to recount stories from his time fondly spent at the club in the 1980s and of course to talk about that fateful cup run to Wembley in ‘83, on the occasion of a Wembley rematch against that year’s opponents Man U in this weekend’s Semi Final clash.
We then spoke to Sanjay Bhandari, chair of Kick It Out and an avid Red Devils fan, to tell us what’s been happening with his work since last we spoke and to give us his opinions of the huge match this Sunday.
In the pod squad this week to chat to our guests and on other matters besides were Russ, Pete, Alan and Andy Bravery.
Stand or fall! UTA! Welcome to the Top 50, Roberto!!!
