Flawed reasoning concerning God’s sacred and holy things leads us down the path of rebellion. When you or your associates maintain a world view contrary to conscience and the Spirit of God, dislike what is good and noble in others, embrace counsel supporting your will while rejecting God’s will, or participate in maligning and mistreating good, honest, spiritual-minded people, we cannot expect God to hear our prayers bless our endeavors favorably. God, in His mercy, shows us the ”red flags” of disobedience, compromise, and self-will so that we can continue on the path in the Presence of God.
