That not so fresh feeling

@SierraNevada @BellsBrewery @StoneBrewing #beer #beercan #beerbottle #freshbeer Co hosts : Good ol Boy Dave, Good ol Boy Kendall, Good ol Boy Drew, Rev. Mark, and Good ol Gal Julieanna SUDS  Episode – We’re going to settle the debate, or did we not. Cans or bottles? We purchased bottles and cans of each a year ago.  Some stayed at room temp and some were refrigerated for a year.  We did the same thing a year later.  The room temp bottles and cans were put in the refrigerator the night before the episode to chill them down.  These were all tasted blind. If you are a brewer, distributor, or retailer, this is that one episode you should check out.

Our science experiment included taking 3 well recognized hoppy beers that we know and love:

  1. Pale Ale –   American Pale Ale brewed with Cascade hops 5.6% ABV  Sierra Nevada Brewing Company, Chico CA
  2. Two Hearted Ale – American IPA brewed with Centennial hops 7% ABV Bell’s Brewery Comstock, MI
  3. Stone IPA – west coast IPA brewed with Magnum, Chinook and Centennial hops. 9% ABV  Stone Brewing, Escondido, CA
