X-Men: Apocalypse is the ninth instalment in the X-Men film series which includes the original X-Men trilogy, two Wolverine movies, and Deadpool. This movie also serves as the third film in the prequel trilogy that started with First Class, Days of Future Past, and now Apocalypse. Awakening after thousands of years, the first and most powerful mutant, Apocalypse (Oscar Isaac), recruits four horsemen including the disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender), to create a new world order. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Professor X (James McAvoy) and Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence) lead a team of young X-Men to stop their seemingly invincible nemesis from destroying mankind. But is it any good? Jason and Luke have a chat about it and give their verdict to Bryan Singer and 20th Century Fox's latest Marvel hit.
