We’ve spent a lot of time talking about movies and TV – whether it’s the news or reviews and a big chunk of what we’re talking about comes from the epic franchise that is the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In celebrating our 300th episode, we go back and revisit Phase One of the MCU to give our proper thoughts on where this hugely popular and successful film franchise began. We revisit all six movies from Phase One of the MCU – from Iron Man (2008) to The Avengers (2012). Throughout the episode we’ll share our thoughts on each of these movies and give our definitive rating. Phase One of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is a series of superhero films produced by Marvel Studios based on characters that appear in publications by Marvel Comics. Kevin Feige produced every film in the phase, with the six films of the phase grossing over $3.8 billion at the global box office. Phase One is the first of three phases that make up The Infinity Saga.
