Directed by Steven Brill and written by Adam Sandler and Tim Herlihy, Hubie Halloween is the comedy horror film from Happy Madison Productions. Netflix brings us Adam Sandler as Hubie Debois – a man who loves Halloween and features an ensemble of familiar Happy Madison faces, including Kevin James, Julie Bowen, Rob Schneider, and Steve Buscemi, as well as some new ones. It’s October 31st in Salem, Massachusetts, and a town’s eccentric, devoted community volunteer and the good-natured object of his fellow citizen’s derision and meanest pranks, finds himself in the midst of a real investigation, for a real murderer.
