It’s about time we reviewed something on Disney+, and it’s about time we reviewed a Christmas movie – why don’t we do both? Noelle is the fantasy Christmas comedy film written and directed by Marc Lawrence and produced by Walt Disney Pictures for their streaming service. Kris Kringle’s daughter Noelle (Anna Kendrick) is full of Christmas spirit and holiday fun but was never expected to do anything “important”, unlike her beloved brother Nick (Bill Hader), who will take over for their father as the next Santa. Following the passing of their father and the next Christmas fast approaching, Nick gets cold feet. Noelle suggests he take a break and get away to clear his head, but when Nick takes this advice, he doesn’t return. With the fate of Christmas at stake, Noelle heads out to bring back the new Santa.
