The Kitchen is the action crime drama, written and directed by Andrea Berloff, based on the DC Vertigo comic book miniseries of the same name by Ollie Masters and Ming Doyle. Set in the late 1970s, the Irish mafia runs twenty blocks of a tough New York City neighbourhood known as Hell’s Kitchen. When the FBI sends their husbands to prison, three mob wives, Kathy (Melissa McCarthy), Ruby (Tiffany Haddish) and Claire (Elisabeth Moss), take business into their own hands by running the rackets and taking out the competition.
