This fourth movie and spin-off of the Men in Black film series, which is loosely based on the Malibu/Marvel comics of the same name by Lowell Cunningham, is the first to not feature the return of Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones.
Directed by F. Gary Gray, Men in Black: International instead stars Chris Hemsworth, Tessa Thompson, and Liam Neeson, with Emma Thompson reprising her role from Men in Black 3 and also Tim Blaney reprising his role briefly as Frank the Pug from the first two films.
Molly Wright (Tessa Thompsons) after witnessing her parents being neuralysed by agents of Men in Black (MIB), searches out and infiltrates the MIB headquarters in New York – convincing Agent O (Emma Thompson) to recruit her. Molly becomes “Agent M” and sent to London, meeting High T (Liam Neeson), head of the London Branch, and arranges for herself to be assigned to assist Agent H (Chris Hemsworth) on his next mission.
The Men in Black have always protected the Earth from the scum of the universe, but their biggest threat may be a mole in the MIB organization.
