The latest live-action adaption from Walt Disney Pictures retains all of the musical and fantasy element from the 1992 animated movie – Aladdin. Directed by Guy Ritchie, Aladdin invites audiences to revisit this classic Disney tale in a whole new… way, which is also based on the Middle Eastern folktale from One Thousand and One Nights. In the desert kingdom of Agrabah, we follow Aladdin (Mena Massoud), a street urchin/street rat, as he falls in love with Princess Jasmine (Naomi Scott), befriends a wish-granting Genie (Will Smith), and battles the conspiring Jafar (Marwan Kenzari). As Jafar, growing tired of being second best, plots to overthrow the Sultan (Navid Negaban), Aladdin uses his wishes to become Prince Ali of Ababwa and win over the heart of the princess.
