Many years ago there was a television series called Mission: Impossible. Many years later, here we are with our sixth instalment in the film franchise. Mission: Impossible Fallout is directed by Christopher McQuarrie. Tom Cruise is of course back as Ethan Hunt, along with a bunch of actors reprising their roles from previous films, as well as newcomers to the franchise – Henry Cavill and Angela Bassett. After a mission gone wrong, arms dealer John Lark and a group of terrorist known as the Apostles plan to get their hands on three plutonium cores. With the weapons missing, Ethan Hunt and the IMF team (Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Alec Baldwin) join forces with CIA assassin August Walker (Henry Cavill) and former MI6 agent Ilsa Faust (Rebecca Ferguson) in a desperate race against time to prevent them from falling into the wrong hands.
